Vinita is an Executive Director in the Direct Tax practice at Khaitan & Co, with over 19 years of experience in advising clients on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, she has extensive expertise in M&A transactions, tax due diligence, cross-border structuring, business reorganisations, and complex treaty issues.
She has worked with leading multinational corporations, funds, large Indian corporates, and HNIs across sectors, helping them navigate India entry/exit strategies, joint ventures, digital economy taxation, and restructuring including in the EPC and insolvency space. Prior to joining Khaitan & Co, Vinita was with Ernst & Young India.
A regular contributor to leading publications, Vinita is also an active member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Chamber of Tax Consultants.
