Haigreve Khaitan is a Managing Partner and leads various practices at the Firm. He is an elected member of the National Executive Committee of the Firm, which is responsible for the Firm’s strategic growth and development. He advises companies, boards of directors and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate governance, corporate restructuring and other corporate and securities laws matters.

Gautam Chemburkar is an Executive Director in the Strategy Team of the firm.  Gautam leads Khaitan & Co’s strategy on markets, sectors, communication and client relationship management.

Soumya Mohapatra is a Partner in the Capital Markets practice group in the Mumbai office.

With more than 12 years of experience, Soumya specialises and advices on a wide range of equity and debt capital market transactions including initial public offerings, global depository receipts offerings, qualified institutions placements, rights issues, and public offering of non-convertible debentures.

Raj Panchmatia is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice group in the Mumbai office. He specialises in advising clients on dispute resolution and commercial litigation.

Siddharth Shah is a senior partner with Khaitan & Co in its Mumbai office and leads the funds practice for the firm. He has over 20 years of professional experience in advising clients in the matters relating to fund formations, setting up of investment platforms, structuring of private equity investments and other corporate transactional matters dealing with joint ventures and M&As in public and private space.

Vivek Mimani is a Partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group. Prior to joining Khaitan & Co, he was a part of the Investments Funds Practice Group at Nishith Desai Associates.

Shivanshu Thaplyal is a Partner in the Energy, Infrastructure & Resources team. Shivanshu regularly advises on corporate/commercial matters and policy and regulatory issues.

Vinita is an Executive Director in the Direct Tax practice at Khaitan & Co, with over 19 years of experience in advising clients on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, she has extensive expertise in M&A transactions, tax due diligence, cross-border structuring, business reorganisations, and complex treaty issues.

Sharad Abhyankar is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group in the Mumbai office. With over 30 years of experience, Sharad specialises in corporate laws, securities laws, anti-trust laws, telecom regulations, constitutional litigation and international commercial arbitrations. He advises Indian and international clients on strategic M&As, private equity investments and exits, capital market transactions, financing transactions, domestic and cross-border foreign collaborations and joint ventures, foreign exchange and securities law related matters.

Mehul is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group and is also the head of the Firm’s Restructuring practice. He specialises.  With over 25 years of experience, Mehul specialises in mergers and acquisitions, solvent and insolvent restructurings including court approved mergers and demergers, acquisitions under the insolvency law, joint ventures and collaborations.
