Amar is the Executive Director - Human Resources and Member - Executive Committee of the Firm, since 2015.

Prior to joining Khaitan & Co, he was Head – Human Resources and member of the Management Committee at Tata Capital. He was also responsible for the Learning & Development, Corporate Social Responsibility, Administration & Infrastructure and the Safety functions. He has been responsible for setting up the Human Resources function and all related policies and practices at Tata Capital since its inception.

Nilanjan is the Chief Compliance & Administrative Officer and has been part of Khaitan & Co for over two decades. He started his career in Khaitan & Co’s Kolkata office and moved to Mumbai in 2001 to set up the Mumbai office of the Firm along with the core group of partners. Since then he has moved from his professional legal career to a Firm management role and has been successfully coordinating all major firm developmental plans undertaken by Khaitan & Co over the years.

Yigal Gabriel is a Partner in the Real Estate and Construction Contracts & Disputes practice group in the Mumbai office. He specialises in a variety of real estate transactions, construction contracts and disputes / litigations arising out of such transactions and as well as from commercial and construction contracts.

Vineet Shingal is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial practice group in the Mumbai office. He has extensive international and cross-border experience, inbound as well as outbound, and has advised several clients on strategic acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital investments, PIPEs, promoter exits and sales.

Subhayu Sen is a Partner in the Capital Markets Practice Group in the Mumbai office. With close to two decades in the profession, Subhayu has advised numerous clients on a range of capital market transactions including initial public offerings, follow on offerings, rights issues, private placements and qualified institutions placements. He has also advised private equity investors who seek an exit, as selling shareholders. As on date, he has been involved in the execution of approximately 100 capital market transactions.

Anisha, based in Mumbai, advises domestic and multinational companies on a full spectrum of competition matters, including cartel enforcement, abuse of dominance, merger control, leniency, dawn raids and competition audit / compliance. Her cross-sectoral experience includes both traditional sectors such as cement, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, logistics, alco-bev, etc. and new age markets such as e-commerce, radio taxis, digital platforms, digital media, etc.

Devendra Deshmukh is a Partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in the Mumbai & Pune office. With over a decade in the profession, Devendra has worked with various clients on a wide range of real estate transactions. 

Ritu Shaktawat is a Partner in the Direct Tax Practice Group in the Mumbai office. With over a decade in the profession, Ritu has advised clients in the areas of corporate taxation and international taxation including bilateral tax treaties and transfer pricing.   

Tomu Francis is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice group in the Mumbai office. He specialises in securities litigation and regulatory advisory across the Indian securities markets. He advises listed companies, market intermediaries, FPIs, trading entities, and other market participants on a wide range of securities law issues, including shareholder and promoter disputes, corporate governance concerns, fraudulent and unfair trade practices, insider trading, front-running, and takeover regulations.

Anand Mehta is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Practice group in the Mumbai office. He specialises in corporate acquisitions and mergers, India entry strategies, corporate & commercial laws and contract laws.
