The Guidelines on Regulation of Payment Aggregators and Payment Gateways, 2020 (PA Guidelines) issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) sets out a regulatory framework for online payment aggregators and prescribes authorisation requirements for such entities under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.
