Khaitan & Co successfully represented Bling Brands Private Limited, proprietor of the well-known fitness and wellness brand "BOLDFIT", in a trademark infringement and passing off action before the High Court of Delhi. The suit was instituted against a partnership concern, Bold Fitness, using the deceptively similar marks “BOLD FITNESS” / “BOLDFITNESS” in relation to identical goods, namely gym and athleisure wear.

Khaitan & Co is representing Amneal Pharmaceuticals, LLC (Amneal) as India counsels, alongside Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in relation to its announced agreement to acquire 100% of Kashiv Biosciences LLC ("Kashiv"), a vertically integrated biopharmaceutical company incorporated in the United States of America, with 2 (two) subsidiaries in India (namely, Kashiv Biosciences Pvt Ltd and Kashiv Research Pvt Ltd), in a transaction with consideration that includes USD 375 million of cash and USD 375 mill

Khaitan & Co advised Bajaj Electricals Ltd in relation to acquisition of the Morphy Richards Brand and other associated intellectual property rights from Glen Electric Ltd, in India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. 

Khaitan & Co advised JSW Steel Ltd in relation to a joint venture with the South Korea-based POSCO Group.

Khaitan & Co advised Everstone Capital on its partnership with the founding promoters of Apothecon Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd (India) and Navinta III Inc.

Khaitan & Co acted as legal advisor to C5i (Course5 Intelligence Limited) in connection with its acquisition of 100% stake in Datavid Ltd (UK) and its subsidiaries in India and Romania. 

Khaitan & Co Advised RTP Global SEA Ltd (“RTP Global”) in connection with its ~USD 4.9 million investment as lead investor in a ~USD 6.2 million financing round in Ozi Technologies Pvt Ltd (“OZi”).

Khaitan & Co advised RSB Transmissions on its proposed acquisition of approximately 76% in Setco Auto Systems Pvt Ltd (SASPL) from Setco Automotive Ltd (SAL) and India Resurgence Fund (India RF), along with a further subscription by RSB at closing to support repayment of SASPL’s existing debt. The transaction closing is subject to customary consents and approvals.

Khaitan & Co advised VINCI Highways, a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions, in relation to 100% acquisition of the Safeway Concessions by Concessoc 41 (part of VINCI Concessions) from Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund 2, managed by Macquarie Asset Management. Safeway Concessions platform comprises of nine toll road assets across Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, totalling nearly 700 km along with an integrated O&M entity.  Completion is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
