Khaitan & Co acted as sole legal counsel to Max India Ltd in relation to issue of up to 82,81,973 fully paid-up equity shares of face value of INR 10 each of Max India Ltd (the “Rights Equity Shares”) for cash at a price of INR 150 per Rights Equity Share (including a premium of INR 140 per Rights Equity Share) aggregating up to INR 12,422.96 lacs on a rights basis to the eligible equity shareholders of Max India Ltd.
